Health insurance can be confusing. There are many options, from deductible amount to coverage agreement. Not all providers include maternity coverage as a standard part of their insurance agreements. Here's how you can find the best option for health insurance that does include maternity coverage.
Instructions
1. Go to ehealthinsurance.com, which is a site that allows you to easily compare different rate and coverage options from multiple health insurance providers.
2. Click on the "individual and family" option and fill out the appropriate information.
3. Click on one of the top choices provided by the search engine.
4. Click on the "Refine Search" option in the upper right portion of the web page.
5. Under "Plan Features," click on the "Maternity Coverage" option. Change any other options and click to include all the providers on the "Company" list in the search, then click on the Search button.
6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the insurance plans that fit your search criteria. You can click on four of them and then click "Compare" to see a chart of the different costs, plan types, co-pays, deductibles and coverage limits.
