The New You!
Losing weight can be one of the most difficult challenges you'll ever face; but you don't have to do it alone. Weight Watchers not only provides you with a healthy diet plan, but offers weight loss support through group meetings with your peers.
Finding the right Weight Watchers meeting is vital to your success. What makes a successful meeting? A powerful combination of a convenient location, compatible leader and healthy support from peers offers you the most chances for weight loss success. Here's find the most compatible WW meeting near you:
Instructions
1. CONVENIENT LOCATION-Finding a meeting close to your home or place of work makes it more likely that you will attend meetings on a regular basis. You can find a meeting near you by going to the Weight Watchers site (see resource section at bottom of page) and punching in the zip code of where you'd like to find a meeting.
2. THE RIGHT LEADER-The right leader for you depends on your personality type. At your first meeting, silently evaluate your leader. Are the two of you a good fit? Does she offer encouragement, as well as take the time to answer your questions?
3. THE RIGHT PEERS-Finding the right peers can be as important as finding the right leader. Your peers should be a source of encouragement and motivation. It's important to find at least a couple of members that you can relate to. You can also ask a good friend to join Weight Watchers with you. The two of you can offer each other loads of encouragement, as well as keep each other on track in between meetings.
4. LOSE WEIGHT AT WORK-Check with your supervisor or human resources manager about starting WW meetings at your workplace. You won't have an excuse to miss meetings when the meetings come to you! Ask Weight Watchers how many members are required to start a workplace group.
5. FIND AN ONLINE SUPPORT GROUP-Weight Watchers offers online support for those who can't find a location near them or for those who need a little extra support in between meetings. There are some wonderful WW communities out there, offering recipes, tips and encouragement. If you think an online Weight Watchers support group is for you, check out the resources section at the bottom of the page to get started.
