Promote A Chiropractic Office

Promote a Chiropractic Office

Chiropractic services are in high demand. Many people are becoming aware of the multitude of benefits chiropractors can offer their patents. Promoting your office is the hardest part of running your business, but once you get clients in the door, they'll most assuredly come back.

Instructions

1. Sign up to be a provider for every insurance company that accepts chiropractors. Some companies will include you in their online directory and you can get quite a few patients this way.

2. Network with medical doctors as well as other alternative medicine professionals. You can refer clients to these people and they can refer their clients to you. It's a win-win situation for everyone involved.

3. Hand out business cards to everybody you know. Give them to every patient you see, your friends, family members and other medical professionals, so they can refer people to you.

4. Create a website to market your practice online. It doesn't have to be fancy as long as it explains a bit about your practice, your rates, what insurances you take and the benefits of your services.

5. Take out ads in local publications. You can do nice full-color ads in magazines if you have enough money, or, if you're just starting out, try to market yourself with lower-cost advertisements, like ads in coupon books or Valpak "cooperative mail" coupons (see Resources).

6. Make up brochures about your chiropractic services. Include information about your practice as well as chiropractic treatment in general. Put the brochures in your lobby; patients will take them and show them to their friends.

7. Do speaking engagements for local groups. Fraternal organizations, like the Moose Lodge, allow professionals to market their services by giving a presentation to club members. Consider doing a demo while you're there or handing out coupons for first-time patients who self-pay.
