Warranty Information For A 2004 Kia Sedona

Kia's initial offerings in North America were compact cars before it expanded into sport utility vehicle (SUV) offerings. The Sedona marked Kia's entrance into an other market segment, the minivan. Kia provides basic, drivetrain and rust warranties for its 2004 Sedona.

Drivetrain Warranty

The 2004 Sedona is powered by a 3.5-liter, V6 engine that produces 195 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 218 pound-feet of torque at 3,500 rpm. This engine and Sedona's five-speed automatic transmission are covered by warranty for 10 years or until the vehicle travels 100,000 miles.

Basic Warranty

The 2004 Kia Sedona warranty covers manufacturer defects from bumper to bumper for five years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. Normal wear and tear items such as tires, brake shoes and wiper blades are not covered by this warranty protection.

Rust Warranty and Roadside

The 2004 Kia Sedona's steel body is covered by warranty for rust damage for five years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Kia's roadside assistance service is offered free of charge for five years with no limitation on vehicle mileage.
