Instructions
1. Exercise regularly and take care of your health. Even 15 minutes of moderate exercise a day can help to regulate mood swings.
2. Eat a healthy diet. This promotes good health in the long run as well as keeping mood swings under control.
3. Get enough sleep. A rested body and mind is less prone to mood swings.
4. Establish a daily routine; knowing what activities to expect each day helps to stabilize your mood as you will be less likely to be overwhelmed by unpredictable events.
5. Minimize taking on new activities that you are not sure you are ready for. Avoid over scheduling yourself, and learn to say "No."
6. Change undesirable habits that may be weighing you down or causing you too much stress.
7. Set goals. When you have a goal, you will more likely have something to keep you moving forward and decently busy.
8. Plan your day according to what you feel like doing.
9. Talk to a friend. Venting by letting someone else know what you are feeling can help to relieve stress and control mood swings.
