Fitting exercise into your busy schedule can be difficult. Take advantage of your lunch break with these simple ideas.
Instructions
1. Join a gym that is less then 10 minutes away from your work. Schedule specific days that you will go.
2. Ask your boss if you can change the time that you take lunch. Take an early or late lunch to avoid busy gyms.
3. Walk up and down the stairs. If you can't get away from the office, take 20 minutes or so to walk up and down the stairs. Any kind of exercise is better than nothing and stair climbing is actually very beneficial to your health.
4. Go for a walk or jog around the block a few times. This is another good solution for when you don't have enough time to go to the gym.
5. Keep some small hand-weights in your desk and take them out when you have to stay in the office. Use them.
6. Join a yoga or Pilates class. Some are scheduled specifically for people to attend on their lunch breaks.
7. Schedule your lunch time exercises. By doing this, you will feel that you must follow through with it.
