Peridot


Peridot varies in color from greenish-yellow to greenish-brown.


Known as the August birthstone, peridot is a gem variety of transparent green olivine, a silicate mineral. It's a bright green stone, with hints of yellowish gold. The depth of the green color depends on the iron content within the stone. It varies from greenish-yellow to greenish-brown. The most valuable form is when it is olive green.


Aquamarine


Aquamarine is a variety of beryl, a silicate of beryllium and aluminum.


Aquamarine is the birthstone for March. Its found mainly in Pakistan, Africa and Russia. Its color varies from pale blue to bluish-green.The most valuable color is deep blue. Aquamarines are sometimes heated to change the color from a bluish-green to a deep blue.


Jade


Known as the birthstone for March, jade is a term used for variations of jadeite and nephrite. Both are similar in appearance but jadeite has been deemed more valuable and true form of jade. Jade is usually an emerald green color. Rarer forms of jade are black, purple, pink and yellow.


Blue Topaz


Topaz is found in Brazil, Mexico, Australia, Russia and the United States.


As the birthstone of December, blue topaz was thought by the Greeks to have the power to enhance strength. Blue topaz is deep blue in color.


Moonstone


A ,oonstone with a purple tint is used for jewelry.








Moonstone is the birthstone for June. In India is thought to carry spiritual power. Its a mineral stone usually a white stone with a bluish-yellow to bluish-pink tint. Moonstones are also found in transparent and translucent forms.
