Eeg Training Programs

EEGs help technicians monitor brainwaves

An electroencephalogram (EEG) is a device used to monitor and record electrical fluctuations within the brain and central nervous system. EEGs are used in numerous functions, such as psychoanalysis and medical research. Because it is such a specialized piece of equipment, the operation and maintenance of an EEG requires advanced and intensive training, allowing EEG technicians to work within a variety of fields.

EEG Spectrum International

Through EEG Spectrum International, EEG training is given through a certain number of sessions, depending on the types of training and specialization a student wishes to master. To learn identify basic learning and behavioral problems connected to the brain, it may take anywhere from 20 to 40 training sessions, while learning to diagnose severe brain trauma can require up to 100 sessions before the student is ready for final testing. Training is done through both clinical practice as well as the study of model cases, and courses are run at international locations listed on the site.
