Make An Egg Shampoo For Shiny Hair

Nourish your hair with a homemade shampoo.

A homemade egg shampoo can add instant shine to hair. It's easy to make and uses inexpensive, natural ingredients. Castile soap, for example, is a natural soap made mostly out of olive oil. It is often available at well-stocked grocery stores and health foods stores. This soap is also a great option for smooth skin. Refrigerate any leftover shampoo to keep the raw egg fresh. Apply this cleansing treatment once or twice a week.

Instructions

1. Beat the egg, olive oil, lemon juice, castile soap, and water or herbal tea until thoroughly mixed. You can also put ingredients in a blender and blend on medium high.

2. Drop in your favorite essential oils to add a scent to your shampoo.

3. Blend the shampoo mixture completely and then apply it to dry hair. Massage the mixture into your hair and scalp and leave the treatment on for 30 minutes.

4. Rinse your hair thoroughly with cool water and air dry or blow-dry with medium heat.
