Although there are many different reasons people become a fruitarian, the nutrients needed by each person that chooses this specific diet for their lifestyle varies little. In fact getting enough iron is often a problem fruitarians experience, especially when they have just committed to it. However, this can be combated by learning eat for anemia as a fruitarian.

1. Learn about the many different types of fruits, vegetables and raw foods you are capable of eating. Doing so will help you identify foods that offer certain nutrients and vitamins you need to fuel your body.


2. Eat nuts, seeds and dried fruits in order to get protein, calcium, iron and zinc. These are important since they can prevent you from developing anemia or providing a natural cure if you already have it.








3. Consume a variety of raw food. That's important since each type of food contains its own combination of nutrients and vitamins. While you may be aiming for nuts, seeds or fruits that offer high iron to assist with anemia problems, you also need several other nutrients and vitamins. Lacking on these only results in other areas of your health and well-being suffering.








4. Be am avid juicer. Rather than try to eat three or four different pieces of fruit to gain the nutrients they need, many turn to juicing machines. This allows them to get all the nutrients and vitamins they need without getting too full and not being able to finish all the fruit.


5. Take a multivitamin or iron supplements if you do suffer from anemia and can't cure it through your diet. This ensures that your body receives the nutrients and vitamins it needs, and some prefer this since it doesn't require them to eat as much everyday.
