Zhen De Shou Side Effects

As with any new fad diet pill, there is always the concern of whether it could potentially be dangerous. Controversy surrounds Zhen De Shou, and many wonder if it is actually as safe as what providers claim it to be. In November of 2008, the FDA released a statement that Zhen De Shou contains an ingredient known as sibutramine. The effects associated with this particular ingredient is cause for reconsideration when consuming Zhen De Shou.


Sibutramine


The chemical properties of sibutramine are used to assist in weight loss. Though it has positive results in helping people lose weight, it does cause undesired side effects.


Side Effects


Products of Zhen De Shou that contain sibutramine may cause increased blood pressure, congestive heart failure or stroke. They may increase the risk a person has of developing coronary artery disease.


Possible Effects


Some people have reported having headaches, insomnia, extreme thirst, tremors, constipation, abdominal pain, heart palpitations, sore throat, nervousness, and a host of other symptoms when taking Zhen De Shou.


Other Effects


Some people may also experience dry mouth, dizziness, joint pain, sinus congestion, or a change in urine color and frequency when using this substance.


Recall


A recall was made on packages sold in the U.S. and on the Internet containing the capsules that were of light and dark green by the FDA.
