Treat Age Spots

Age spots are spots that occur on the skin of those over 40 years old. They typically appear on the hands, face, arms and legs but can occur anywhere where there is significant exposure to the sun. These age spots are typically fairly small in size and are not circular or square. They are usually oddly shaped.

Instructions

Treat Age Spots

1. Have liquid nitrogen sprayed onto the spots. Liquid nitrogen is air that is sprayed onto your skin. It begins treating the age spots immediately. About a month after the age spots are sprayed, they will turn white, then disappear.

2. Take plenty of vitamin C. Vitamin C is known to improve skin cells. If you take vitamin C regularly for 30 days or more, it should help your age spots fade.

3. Apply an ample amount of sunscreen. Even if you aren't planning on being in the sun much during the day, apply a sunscreen with a high SPF rating on the age spots. This can prevent the age spots from darkening and can even make them start to fade away.

4. Undergo a chemical peel. Chemical peels can be quite effective on age spots, stop them from getting bigger and making them disappear. Chemical peels tend to have the best results when the patient has lighter-colored hair and blue eyes.

5. Use Retin-A cream. Retin-A cream is known for fighting age spots. Use this cream for four to eight months daily to make the age spots go away.
