Set The Time On A Zoll 1600

The Zoll 1600 defibrillator can save lives by restoring a heart's normal rhythm. If you notice that the time is incorrect on your 1600, set it to the correct time as soon as you get an opportunity. When you enter programming mode, you'll have to motion through the process of setting the date first. If the date is already correct, you can simply skip through the steps by pressing "Set" until you reach the time-setting mode.

Instructions

1. Flip the defibrillator switch to the "Off" position. Locate the button labeled "Set" on top of the device.

2. Press and hold "Set." Then flip the switch back to "On." Continue to hold the button until the date appears on the display.

3. Set the date (1 through 31) by pressing "Up" or "Down," if necessary. Press "Set" when the date is correct, or if you want to bypass the date. The month begins to flash.

4. Set the month, if necessary. Use the "Up" or "Down" buttons. Press "Set" when you are finished. The year now appears. Press "Set" once the correct year is displayed. Now the time begins to flash.

5. Press the "Up" or "Down" arrows to set the hour. It uses the 24-hour format, so the display reads 0 through 24. Press "Set" to confirm the hour. This changes the display to the minute setting.

6. Press the "Up" or "Down" arrows to set the minute. Press "Set" when you are finished.
