Chi Machine Instructions

The Sun Ancon Chi Machine is a therapeutic massager created by Japanese scientist Dr. Shizou Inoue. The Chi Machine claims to alleviate both physical and mental issues through oxygenation and detoxification. Through passive aerobic exercise the Chi Machine moves the feet which is supposed to oxygenate the blood and detoxify the body. This leads to weight loss, mood increase, improved sleep, improved blood circulation, improved flexibility and reduction in muscle soreness. The Chi Machine is easy to use but it is vital to follow the instructions and know when to use it.

Instructions

1. Position the Chi Machine on a solid surface. Chi Machine International recommends a hard floor with carpet.

2. Plug in the machine and position your ankles in the ankle rest so feet flop but do not knock each other.

3. Set the automatic timer to start the machine's movements. Beginners should start with four to six minutes twice a day while those that are more experienced on the Chi Machine can go up to twenty minutes twice a day.

4. Choose from the three possible positions. The Mid Position involves clasping your hands behind your head. The Goldfish Position has arms relaxed at your sides with palms down. The Stretched Back Position has arms above your head with palms up.

5. Lay still for approximately three minutes after the machine stops. Chi Machine International claims this rest period is when the healing chi energy is circulating.

6. Remove feet from ankle rests and place flat on the floor with knees bent at a 45 degree angle. Lower knees to one side while gently swinging arms to the opposite side. Repeat on both sides three or four times before slowly standing up.

7. Drink a glass of water in order to aid the lymph system in flushing out toxins.
