Wondering cure constipation? It's not difficult, actually. There are a number of ways to get rid of constipation once you have it and even more ways to prevent it from happening in the first place!

1. If you need to cure constipation NOW, try taking an over the counter constipation remedy such as mineral oil, milk of magnesia or a senna-based laxative. Swear to yourself that it will be the last time that you use a commercial preparation and begin to change your diet.


2. Get some flax seeds and grind them up. Eat two tablespoons of this daily. It provides lots of beneficial insoluble fiber and is a great natural way to cure and prevent constipation. Also add other fibrous foods to your diet, such as beans, vegetables and oatmeal.


3. Also, to cure constipation, drink plenty of water. Your body needs the water in order to process the food you are digesting. Water also helps with weight loss and general health, so it is an excellent habit to develop.








4. Get some exercise. Exercising gets things moving, so to speak, so it is a good cure for constipation. Try walking for half an hour. It is a good preventative because it keeps your body from slowing down and causing constipation.


5. Prunes aren't only good for grandma. They are an excellent natural cure for constipation. They also do a good job preventing it.


6. Probiotics can help prevent constipation. Either take a supplement, or eat some yogurt every day.
