Learn Acupressure

Acupressure is a healing art believed to have originated in India and later spread to China and the rest of Asia, Egypt, by Buddhist monks. Acupressure utilizes the fingers to push on the surface of the skin to stimulate pressure points in the meridian system. Your body contains complex physiological systems that regulate physical functions including digestion, blood circulation and respiration. According to Chinese traditional medicine, another complex system exists in your body called the meridian system. This system manages your chi (life force energy). Harmony and balance inside the meridian system can impact internal organ function, immunity, health and mood. Acupressure works by influencing strategic pressure points that lie along the meridian system in order to re-harmonize and loosen up energy flow. By employing all the methods below, you can easily learn and apply acupressure.
