File A Complaint Against A Chiropractor

Type or write a letter of complaint about a chiropractor.








Chiropractors are physicians designed to help patients with back problems. Many people see chiropractors on a regular basis expect a certain level of expertise, professionalism and treatment. If ever you experience any form of professionalism that does not meet the standards in place by your state's Board of Chiropractors it is your duty to file a complaint to report the inappropriate behavior of that chiropractor.


Instructions


1. Compose a written complaint to the state Board of Chiropractors in the state where the chiropractor is licensed. Complaints must be presented in writing.


2. Provide your name, address and contact information in your letter. In the letter you must also provide the name, address, office name and location of the chiropractor about whom you are filing a complaint. The date of the incident you are complaining about and a very detailed description of what happened to cause your complaint are also required.


3. Sign and date the letter and mail it to the state Board of Chiropractors. The address you should mail your complaint to will be listed under "frequently asked questions" on the Board of Chiropractors website, or you can obtain it by calling the board or requesting the address from the state department of health.
