Use Triphala Churna

Triphala is an Ayurvedic herb that promotes healthy bowel movements. It is used as a laxative, rejuvenator and detoxifier particularly for the liver and blood. The term "churna" refers to the herb in its powder form, which is the traditional method of using the herb although it is also available in pill form. Triphala has been used in Ayuvedic medicine in India for thousands of years. In addition to being a powerful laxative and cleanser, triphala has also been used to treat cardiovascular diseases like high blood pressure and ulcerative colitis.

Instructions

1. Measure about 2 to 3 grams of triphala churna.

2. Pour the triphala churna into a glass containing about 16 oz. of warm water.

3. Stir with a large spoon to blend the triphala churna thoroughly.

4. Drink the entire mixture in one sitting, preferably in the evening before you retire for the night.

5. Alternatively, separate the 16 oz. mixture into three smaller doses. Drink each dose about 30 to 60 minutes before each meal during the day.
