Stop Eating Chocolate

Giving up chocolate is hard. Especially around the holidays, and there seem to be chocolate-related holidays every two months or so. You probably know these holidays intimately as a chocolate lover, and look forward to any excuse to indulge in a chocolate-eating frenzy. The problem with chocolate is the more you eat it, the more you want to eat it and if you've really got a problem, pretty soon all you want to eat is chocolate and nothing else. If you can't seem to eat chocolate in moderation like non-chocoholics do, then here's a way to try to replace that chocolate craving with regular, healthy food. After you have the evil sugar out of your system for a few days, you'll find you don't crave it as much. Food will taste good, although it won't be as fun. But your body will be thankful. Read on to learn stop eating chocolate.

Instructions

1. Drink a glass of cold water or eat a fresh, raw vegetable every time you want to eat some chocolate.

2. Have some nuts and raisins around to pop in your mouth when you're trying to quit chocolate. The energy boost will feel similar to chocolate, and you've just helped your body instead of feed it sugar.

3. Chew sugarless gum when you get a chocolate craze. The sweet taste will help for a little while.

4. Have some toast with all-fruit jelly to give yourself something sweet but still healthy. If toast doesn't do it, try a very sugary fruit like a banana, peach or grapes.

5. Try sweet-flavored rice cakes, sugarless fudgesicles and diet soda. These aren't the best for you, but sometimes you're desperate.
