Small ramps are great for pets to use in lieu of pet steps. They can also be great for wheeling hand trucks up into a building or the back of a vehicle. Instructions
1. Choose a board that is 16 inches thick and that lies at least five feet long. Sand and prepare it for safe use.
2. Attach carpet to the top of your board using your staple gun and staples. Make sure that all the staples you use to attach the carpet are hammered all the way into the board.
3. Attach molding to each side of the board, hammering in a nail every foot. When attaching the molding, make sure that the fat edge of the molding is flush with the bottom of your ramp so that it creates a nice safety ledge along the side edges of your ramp.
4. Attach a small amount of anti-slip material to the underside of the ground end of the ramp to keep it from sliding. Do this using your staple gun.
