Make Tooth Soap Recipes

Contrary to the popular opinion that the only way to effectively cleanse your teeth is to use commercial tooth pastes and gels, you can make your own tooth soap recipes and discover some excellent ways to save money while taking great care of your teeth and gums at the same time.


Tooth soap recipes take some of the best natural ingredients available on the market and combine them to create all natural tooth soap cleansers that are gentle, nonabrasive, and inexpensive, and leave your teeth feeling clean and polished, and your breath fresh and natural.


Instructions


Peppermint Tooth Soap


1. Measure the following ingredients:


1. 4 tsp. of glycerin


2. 10 to 20 drops of peppermint flavoring


3. 1 drop of food coloring, your choice


4. ½ cup of baking power


5. 3 to 4 tbsp. of salt


2. Combine the baking powder and salt first, then add other ingredients to create a paste consistency.


3. Store the finished tooth soap in an air tight container and this recipe may easily last for months.








Low-sodium Tooth Soap Recipe


4. Measure and mix the following ingredients:


1. 1 teaspoon of baking soda


2. 1 teaspoon of table salt (table salt is different than iodized salt)


3. 1 teaspoon of dried sage


5. Combine the three ingredients together in a small bowl, until a paste forms.


6. Add some to moistened toothbrush bristles and begin brushing as you normally would.


Flavorful Tooth Soap Recipe


7. Combine the ingredients listed.


1. 1 tablespoon of Dr. Bronner's castile liquid soap (can be ordered from drbronner.com)


2. 5 tablespoons of coconut oil


3. 1 tablespoon of olive oil


4. 10 -- 12 drops of orange oil


5. 10 -- 12 drops of peppermint oil








8. Blend the ingredients together thoroughly. If the consistency is thicker than desired, more olive oil or water can be added until it reaches a pourable texture.


9. Store it in a clean soap dispenser.
