Use Natural Remedies To Treat Bad Breath

Bad breath can easily ruin many intimate moments, as well as cause an embarrassing situation with work-related interactions. While there are many toothpastes and breath mints that promise to battle bad breath, the best way to beat this beast is from the inside-out. Consider these natural solutions to curb stinky breath.

Instructions

1. On a daily basis, gather three fresh mint leaves and chew on them. Before heading out to an event or somewhere that you will be speaking with other people, this remedy will remove the negative stench emitting from your mouth.

2. Mix 3 tsp. of baking soda with 4 oz. of warm water, and stir until the baking soda is completely dissolved. Put a mouthful of this mixture in your mouth and gargle for 15 seconds. Remove the mixture from your mouth and repeat three times. The baking soda works to clean your tongue, which is where germs that cause bad breath tend to linger.

3. Prepare 8 oz. of hot tea every morning and night. Make sure that you don't add any sweetener, either sugar or a sugar-alternative, to your hot tea. The natural enzymes of the tea will help neutralize bad breath.

4. Consume unsweetened, all-natural, yogurt once a day for six weeks to rid you from bad breath. Yogurt contains nutrients that are healthy for your digestive system, which is where the cause of bad breath can occur.

5. Juice one full size lemon into 3 oz. of warm water. Gargle this mixture twice a day to remove bad breath. The lemon will not only freshen your breath naturally, but will also neutralize germs that cause bad breath.
