Find Pressure Points On The Arm And Body







You can find pressure points on the arm by following the nerves, tendons, ligaments and muscles as they run along the bones of the arm. Pressure points are found in the gaps and junctures where nerves accumulate and different structures in the arms meet.


Pressure points in the arms and body can be pressed to stimulate both pleasure and pain.


Instructions


1. Start by bending your arm at about a 45 degree angle. Notice the line that forms in the skin on the inside of the elbow. Press the point at the bottom of the crease on the outside of the arm. You will feel a sharp pain but it will pass quickly. Work the pressure in a circular motion. It is believed that when you press this point you release anger from your body.


2. Straighten your arm and move the hand on your other arm underneath your elbow. Move your hand about 2 inches above your elbow toward your shoulder. Now press the points on both sides of your arm with your thumb and middle finger. Squeeze the flesh into the bone from both sides simultaneously. There will be momentary pain but this increases blood circulation to your hands.


3. Drop your arm to your side. Use your other hand to find where your shoulder muscle ends and your biceps begin. This will be roughly on the other side of your arm pit on the outside of the arm. Press the point in the middle of your upper arm. The pressure point is believed to help with breathing problems and relieve feelings of sadness.


4. Look at the back of your hand. Move the thumb of your other hand to a position about one inch from the wrist in the middle of the forearm. Press the point directly in the middle of the radius and ulna bones. This is a tendon juncture. This pressure point is believed to help you get in touch with your emotions.


5. Work your way up your forearm until you are just below your elbow. Make a fist and straighten your arm. Feel for the flexed muscle that runs across the side of the elbow into your forearm. Find the valley between this muscle and the one that runs along the outside of the forearm. Relax your arm then press the point in the valley about one inch from the bend of your elbow. You will know when you found it because you will feel a sharp pain. Work the pressure point gently in a circular motion. This relieves hand tension and tingling of the fingers.
