Removal of a KitchenAid Superba Water Filter
The KitchenAid Superba's freezer door contains a water dispenser. Before the water exits the dispenser, it passes through a filter designed to reduce the amount of contaminants. When the refrigerator's display panel shows the filter's lifespan is at 10% or less, the filter must be replaced.
Instructions
1. Press the EJECT button next to the filter to release it from the base grille.
2. Pull the water filter straight out of the base grill.
3. Twist the filter's cap in a counterclockwise direction until the cap disconnects from the filter. Do not discard the cap--it is part of the refrigerator and must be used with the new filter.
